CHNI launched it’s arts project ‘Participate’ with one-day extravaganza during Homeless Awareness Week in the Black Box, Belfast in November last year.

We had families, young people, old people – all having a go at painting, drumming, making T-shirts, acting, and many other things! The grand finale was a short play by young people from Belfast Foyer and the fantastic juggling, uni-cycling, joke telling, fire eating Dave Archer.

CHNI is currently looking for funding to support a N.I. strategy that will enable homeless people to engage with the arts wherever they are. We will be aiming to provide the activities that your service users are interested in. We want to hear from you - particularly from those of you who have had limited or no
