Northern Ireland Languages Strategy Overview of Public Meetings
- 19th Feb 2008, Linen Green Centre, Dungannon County Tyrone, 6.30 pm-9.30 pm.
- 27th Feb 2008, Clinton Centre, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, 6.30 pm-9.30 pm.
- 5th Mar 2008, Canada Room, Lanyon Building, Queen's University, Belfast, 6.30 pm-9.30 pm.
- 6th Mar 2008, Minor Hall, Main Building, Magee campus, University of Ulster, 6.30 pm-9.30 pm.
The public meetings are designed to capture the key concerns of all communities in Northern Ireland. The Languages Strategy will have an impact on many aspects of society in Northern Ireland. You should be involved if you think the Strategy should offer solutions to help:
- Nurses communicate with all of their patients
- Children understand the culture of all their fellow class mates
- Employers explaining good practice to employees
- Migrant entrepreneurs set up their own businesses
- Develop multicultural arts programmes.
- Teachers work with all the children in the classroom
- Our young people to travel and experience other cultures
- Open international networks to our businesses and
- Employment
- Good Relations
- Education
- Health and well being
