Analysis of Needs: Southern Area Children’s Services Planning Working Group on Domestic Violence Report 24/04/07 [NI]
The Children Service’s Planning (CSP) Domestic Violence Working Group maintains a focus on strategic planning of services for children affected by domestic violence in the SHSSB area, thus ensuring a high profile for these children within the overall planning process. This must be based on an assessment of need, the starting point of which is to determine a baseline assessment of existing services for children and gaps in service provision. The Working Group devised a questionnaire to obtain this baseline data. This paper is an analysis of the responses to questionnaires with subsequent and recommendations for developing and improving services.
