Aware Defeat Depression is organising a public talk and information event:
An Culturlann, 216 Falls Road on Thursday 24th April at 8.00pm.
Guest speaker is Liz Schumacher, an experienced mental health professional who recently worked in southeast London and who is currently employed as Team Leader of Secondary Care Services in the West Belfast Area. The title of her talk is 'Looking After Our Mental Health' and as the title implies, she will be looking at ways that everyone can help to maintain or improve their mental well-being. All in all it promises to be a very practical, jargon-free and interesting presentation which will be of benefit to everyone whether or not they are affected by mental illness.. At the conclusion of the talk there will be an opportunity to ask questions. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
