MUST Hostel (Mid-Ulster & South Tyrone Association for the Single Homeless) have established a new resettlement service: Supporting Adults for Independent Living (SAIL). The project, funded by NIHE and Supporting People Team, will offer housing support for people within the hostel and people needing housing support in the Community.
The aim of the service is to enable vulnerable people to live independently in the Community in their own homes. The project is aimed at anyone who has been accepted by the NIHE as homeless or vulnerable. It provides advice and practical support during the period of transition between homelessness and resettlement into secure, permanent accommodation. Referrals come from N.I.H.E., Community Mental Health Teams, Social Services Teams, P.B.N.I., Citizens Advice Bureau and GPs.
