The Irish Association of Suicidology presents Youth Suicide in a Changing Society at the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone, on 20 September 2008.
At the end of this conference delegates will have an understanding of:
- Factors involved in youth suicide and how to deal with a suicidal person within the family
- An understanding of the value and pitfalls of the Internet in suicide prevention
- The impact of the present economic climate on the implementation of the national strategy for suicide prevention ‘Reach Out’
