The ninth annual Parents' Week will take place from 20 to 26 October 2008. Last year there were over 180 events happening across Northern Ireland - many of which were free for families.
The week will be
- a celebration of the valuable work you do with families in all their shapes and sizes
- a time to examine how you can be more effective
- an opportunity for us to ensure that your work is recognised and valued and ensure that the issues affecting families today are kept at the top of the political agenda.
The week begins with an annual conference at the Park Avenue Hotel where speakers will address the issue of raising the quality of parenting and family support services.
