The Irish Congress of Trade Unions and Trademark, as part of the Anti-Racist Workplace Week 2008, are hosting a training session on employment rights. Some of the issues that the course will look at include:
- An overview of the legislative framework for employment rights;
- Employment Rights Order;
- Health and Safety at Work Order;
- Race and sex discrimination;
- Guidelines on providing information, guidance and advice;
- Statutory dispute resolution;
- Grievance and disciplinary procedures;
- Signposting and referrals;
- Overview of statutory organisations responsible for law; enforcement
- Support organisations.
