NW Staff activities

We successfully hosted the DSD Committee Members meeting on the 10th December up here in the Northwest. The meeting ran with the usual order of business in the Millennium Forum, and the Committee members then kindly agreed to visit a local supported housing project in the area.

FHASS, Shepherds View Young Families Project was the project visited and the committee members were impressed by the quality standards of the project and by the dedication of the staff on site at the project.

We would just like to thank Kevin Wright, Tracey Healy, Hazel and Pamela for their commitment to making the visit a pleasure for all on the day.

We continue to provide valued support to our Member Organisations through one-to-one work.

The CHNI/NICVA/SP Collaborative Working event on 18th November 2009 was very successful. Well attended by providers and there was an expressed interest for further events to take place in the future.

We will be having our next NW Members Forum on Friday 12th February 2010, in Foyle Haven, John Street Derry.  We will be having an officer from the Public Protection Unit there to give a presentation, also other CHNI/SP updates.
